Eight years on and Restaurante Hotel Don Carlos wine-pairing dinners are now a mainstay gastronomic event for all lovers of good food and wine.
Prestigious wineries belonging to different designations of origin match their exquisite wines with the creations that come out of Restaurante Hotel Don Carlos kitchens.
Each event consists of a menu carefully designed between the kitchen team, the oenologist from the winery taking part and the Hotels own sommelier. The menu includes six fine, balanced dishes, paired with six wines and/or champagnes made by the winery. Each event involves different dishes and wines to make each one unique. Prior to the tasting, the diners are welcomed with a reception cocktail and the entertainment continues after dinner with a private party and good music so that those attending can enjoy the perfect evening out.
Some of the wineries that have taken part include: Champagnes Perrier Jouët , Bodegas Arzuaga, Inurrieta, Nekeas, Chivite, Aroa, Otazu, Marco Real, Azpilicueta, Sarria, Príncipe de Viana, etc.
